How do you know if a gold chain is real?

The gold chains in our collection all contain a quality mark for real gold. This is provided by an assaying office. They inspect each piece of jewellery for its precious metal content. If the product meets the legal requirements the assaying office stamps a hallmark on it. This gold stamp confirms the authenticity of the jewel. The stamps for gold are therefore related to the percentages mentioned above. 375 for 9 karat, 585 for 14 karat, and 750 for 18 karat gold.
